John Standefer M.D.

I developed an ulcer on my ankle from venous stasis in my legs. I stand on my feet all day as a surgeon and the veins in my legs got larger and larger. Dr. Reeder tested the veins with an ultrasound and found that the valves in the vessels had become incompetent which allowed the blood to back up and swell the veins. A painless procedure later and I was back to the operating table in my surgical suite. My leg veins never looked better. I have seen the older vein stripping procedures and I highly recommend the radiofrequency procedure. It was quick and painless with essentially no down time.
