Insurance and Financing

Vein treatment is usually covered by most major health insurance plans, especially if you have associated symptoms.  In general, we will determine your insurance benefits and obtain approval from your health insurer before beginning treatment.  We will also let you know what your out-of-pocket expenses (deductibles and copays) will be, as best we are able to determine working with your insurance company.  Our office staff will also be happy to file your insurance for you when you are treated.  However, if your treatment is not eligible for insurance coverage or if you are uninsured, we will work with you and in most cases can provide the treatment you need.

You should note that the treatment of spider veins is always considered by insurance to be cosmetic and is not covered by Medicare or any of the major health insurance carriers.  However, spider veins are often associated with underlying vein disease that is covered by insurance.

We are now accepting Medicare.
