Questions to Ask your Vein Surgeon

Three questions to ask your vein surgeon.
1. Is your surgeon Certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine?

Dr. Reeder was one of the original 250 physicians in this country to become Certified by The American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM).  Dr. Darnell is also certified by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine.  ABVLM certification indicates your vein physician has submitted patient treatment data and patient outcomes to the Board, and taken and passed a comprehensive exam testing the physician's knowledge encompassing the entire field of vein and lymphatic disorders and treatment.

2. Does your surgeon devote 100% of his or her time to treating vein disorders?

Many surgeons concentrate only a small portion of their practice on the treatment of vein disorders. At Reeder Vein Institute 100% of our practice is dedicated to diagnosing and treating vein and related lymphatic diseases.

3. Is your vein surgeon experienced with the latest minimally invasive techniques and technologies in the industry?

At Reeder Vein Institute we apply "best practice" principles to provide the latest concepts and proven technologies available to treat vein disorders, including VNUS Closure radiofrequency and laser procedures.  Our minimally invasive techniques allow your vein disease to be treated in an office setting with minimal downtime and outstanding results.  Be sure to review our Treatment Options tab on the home page.
